Darrian Gerard, a Canadian Pop-Rock virtuoso, crafts her own musical universe from the depths of her home studio in a small town in British Columbia, Canada. From learning guitar at 7 years old to seamlessly embracing bass, piano, drums, and vocals, Gerard's multi-instrumental prowess defines her artistry as she writes, records, and produces all of her own music. 

 

Initiating her professional journey in 2021 with the release of "I Don't Need Anyone", Gerard has since unveiled 7 more singles and an EP garnering attention through blog features, radio plays, and international press. 

 

The much anticipated EP, "Basement Stadium", dropped February 10th, 2023 supported by Creative BC's Career Development grant. "Basement Stadium" made waves on commercial radio, college radio, surpassed over 200k streams on Spotify and notably, her single "Old Wounds" ascended to #34 on the UK Alternative iTunes Chart, marking a stellar milestone in her musical journey. She was also noticed as the Elite 50 of CBC Music's Searchlight Competition in 2024 (Top 100 in 2023), Music BC's Spotlight of the Week, The Zone @ 91.3's Band of the Month for June 2024, 1 of 6 Indigenous Canadians chosen for the OHSOTO'KINO Music Incubator Program, and has garnered attention across North America with main stage festival performances and social media recognition.
